Two pages answer the question "what can I rent out?".
Available now
Available now lists your active products with what they are doing right now: available, out (and until when, with which customer), overdue, or due for pickup. It also shows the next booking. Filter Available now only to see just the free ones, and use Rent on a row to start a rental with that product already selected.
The Available now figure on the dashboard counts the same products.
Calendar
Calendar shows the whole fleet on a timeline: one row per product, one column per day.
- Choose 7, 14 or 30 days, move Back and Forward a week at a time, or jump to Today. A line marks the current moment.
- Filter by type (vehicles, equipment, attachments).
- Each bar is a rental, coloured by status (reserved, awaiting contract, active, closed) and labelled with the customer. Click it to open the rental.
- Click a free day to start a new rental of that product from that day (09:00). Days that are already taken have no link.
- The figures at the top show what is available now, what is out with customers, the bookings in the period and the occupancy.
The same timeline appears on the dashboard and, for 28 days, on each product's page.
Why a product shows as busy
- It has a rental that overlaps the period, including the gap between rentals set in Company settings.
- A rental that is overdue keeps the product busy until the return is recorded.
- Products in Service or Blocked status, or archived, cannot be booked.
All of these are checked again at the moment a rental is saved, so the calendar can never be "beaten" by two people booking at once. More in Rentals.
